Doug and I were talking the other night about someone whose birthday is near Christmas. His family celebrates his birthday in June, on his "unbirthday". Doug had never heard of the concept, so I explained the reason for the Mad Hatter's party in Alice in Wonderland. I guess we'll need to watch that movie soon!

Ava has been quite the bee-charmer, lately. She is very loving, giving big hugs and kisses and enthusiastically yelling "hi" to friends and family. It's been fun to experience the world through her eyes, especially over the past few weeks. Mel-mo is no longer, he is now "Elm-o". "Mama" is now "Mommy", "Da-da" is now "Daddy". She now says "bu-uy" for "bunny". It's kind of scary when I can understand what she's saying. "Mey-ch" is "mess". She LOVES the Wiggles, Elmo DVD's, drawing and coloring on an easel, dancing and singing. I LOVE to hear her sing. She likes to sing "Row, row, Row your boat", and a few other songs.
