Big Stuff!!!

I occasionally look on the http://www.babycenter.com/ Web site. On the Web site, there are postings relevant to the month in which your baby was born. People ask questions and others provide answers to those burning questions associated with raising little ones. I don't typically post on the Web site, but like to see the advice offered by different people. It's interesting to see the wide range of advice and perspectives...

I saw a posting the other day, asking March parents to post pictures with their baby's newest "trick". I was very surprised to see a few babies standing, unassisted, grabbing onto a crib rail, a box, etc. So, we HAD to try! Much to my surprise, when Ava was propped up next to the pack-and-play rail, she stood unassisted and balanced herself. She was even able to turn around, wobbily, and smile for the camera. Doug loved snapping these pictures!


She must think she's big stuff!

In these pictures, she is witnessing the torrential downpour happening just outside the window. I pointed to our rising creek outside, which seemed to hold her interest. Obviously, as you can tell in this close-up picture, she's impressed!
