Since we were busy traveling the first part of October, I didn't get a chance to provide Liam's 3 Month update...
He is now 15 weeks old.
At 15 weeks old, he weighs 17.5 lbs. He is a BIG - wait...maybe I should say that again... B-I-G boy!
He is 25+ inches.
He loves to roll. He first rolled at 13 weeks + 1 day. A little later than big sis Ava, but he's a little more mellow than she was. He's just happy to be wherever he is...
He loves to hold onto your hand / finger.
He loves to hold conversations with you and listen to you sing.
He is hitting his toys and always grabs one of the toys off of a bar above his head.
As his hair grows in, it looks like it will be more red. I'm curious to see what color it will end up.
He is the most mild-mannered, calm and happy baby I've ever met. And I wouldn't say it unless it was true! If you catch his eye, he continues to grin ear to ear. He LOVES to giggle.
He is all boy. He loves to be scared and will laugh if you surprise him. Ava isn't exactly gentle with him yet, but he seems to enjoy being rough-housed with, even at this age. Fortunate for me, he is a bigger "little guy", so that helps.
He is Mr. Social. He loves to laugh at Ava, if she is laughing at him. It melts my heart to see them laughing together. With Liam, you never have to fight for a smile. I dropped him off at day care on 10/20 for the first time. Putting him in the bucket seat in the table, he immediately looked over at another baby a few seats over and started "talking" to him. They said he did really well.
He is SUPER low maintenance.
He does have acid reflux and continues to take medicine twice daily for it (0.9 ml). I also give him cod liver oil for brain development. The stuff stinks but he doesn't seem to mind it's flavor (orange). We gave this to Ava, as well, until she could no longer stand it..
When Liam wakes up in the morning he is LOUD! He's not unhappy but just likes to exercise his vocal cords and hear his own voice. He is now sleeping in Ava's old crib, which is in the same room in which she sleeps. So, that has been interesting. But, he's no longer sleeping in our room.
I think he is also sprouting some teeth. He has a line in his gums for two of his front bottom teeth. On some occasions he seems to be extremely uncomfortable with his gums. My first tooth cut through my gums at 2 1/2 months, so it may be the case for him...
Here's to our sweet little pumpkin, Liam!!!
We love you pumpkin patches full! :-)
