Milestones

I use this blog as my brain for remembering baby facts, etc. So, I had to scour the past entries to determine when most of Ava's "firsts" occurred. For the record, here are Ava and Liam's milestones reached.

I found it especially interesting that Ava was 17 lbs and 26 inches at her SIX MONTH APPOINTMENT. At 3 1/2 months, Liam has already passed her up in height and weight. (He was 25+ inches and 17 & 1/2 lbs at 3 1/2 months). Amazing how different kids can be...

Liam does seem to talk and enjoys more social time / eye-contact than I remember with Ava. He seems to be VERY social, even with other kids. Ava seemed very self-determined to get moving as fast as she could. :-) Ava seems to hang the moon for Liam. Whenever he sees her, he follows her with his eyes, smiles and talks to her.

Ava
Laughed out loud: 9 weeks
First rolled over: 11 weeks
Made first "raspberry" sounds: 3 ½ months
Started scooting: 3 ½ months
Ate food (applesauce): 4 ½ months
Could stand if propped up next to something: 5 months
Started sitting up unassisted: 5 months
Started crawling: 5 months
First tooth: 8 months
Starting to pull-up: 6 months + days
First word (“Da-da”) under 7 months
Started to let go: under 8 months
Took first steps: under 9 months

Liam
Laughed out loud: 8 weeks
First rolled over: 13 weeks
Made first "raspberry" sounds: 3 ½ months
Ate food:
Could stand if propped up next to something:
Started scooting:
Started sitting up unassisted:
Started crawling:
First tooth:
First word:
Starting to pull-up:
Started to let go:
Took first steps:
