While in Michigan, we went to Chuck E. Cheese with my Mom. As we walked into Chuck E. Cheese, Gayle Flanigan walked up and also walked in. She mentioned that Molly's family, Andy's family and Katie's family, along with Mrs. Spangler, were all going to be there within minutes. Wow, could we have planned that any better? It was fun to let the kiddos run around and play together. I was able to briefly (Cliff-Notes version) catch up with Molly during the kids' activities. It is ALWAYS great to see their family. Makes me miss them even more!
We also were able to get together later in the week with Andy, Kathy, Will and Sophie and head to bowling alley on Tienken. We first went to Big Boys for an early lunch. While bowling, the kids were able to use a ramp, which definitely helped. It was Ava's first bowling experience. We tried to capture a picture of the kiddos together, which didn't prove to be an easy feat. Catching up with the Flanigans is nice and it feels like we've never spent a day apart. Good times.
