I am proud of Mr. Liam Carey for his first entire day without diaper, complete with Thomas the train underwear, even during naptime! I think he was ready weeks ago, obviously I guess we weren't. He has been dry for almost a month now, entirely. I think we might switch from Pull-Ups to regular underwear at bedtime now, too.
What's amazing? He did this on his own. We've been training him for months but it seemed that he finally made the decision to stay dry on his own.
At school, for a while there I felt pretty bad. He was the only boy in his class that was potty-trained, so when the "potty-trainers" (who happened to all be girls) from class went to the potty, he tagged along. I'm hoping he wasn't too traumatized by having to go to the bathroom with girls. I think some of the boys in class must be coming around, though.
This is hilarious...The teachers in his classroom have a "Potty Superstar" bulletin board. They drew a toilet for each of the "potty superstars" and put their picture above the toilet. Liam's face is proudly displayed on the board. I will try to snap a picture of it and post soon. :)
