While in Michigan

Here are some pictures taken while we were in Michigan for Tim and Tracy's wedding. We stayed at my Mom's apartment, which freed up some space at the Careys' house for other out-of-town guests.

Ava and Liam surprised me with some balloons on my birthday, which was the Friday before the wedding. Grandmother, Uncle Danny and Aunt Linda, Jamin, Ginger, Sherry, Daymian and Jordan all came over for a family dinner on Saturday.

Liam, doing what he does best, playing with building blocks. He can actually say "tower", and knows that blocks stacked highly are towers. :-)

Ava wanted to make her own recipe. When we asked her what she wanted to make, she came up with the following recipe: green grapes, vanilla yogurt, Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. I think some strawberries made their way into the dish, as well. Here she is, proudly showing off her creation.
